Mardi matin, commencé sous la pluie mais toujours dans une joyeuse ambiance qui compensait un peu. Heureusement, l'après midi a été un peu + ensoleillée.
   Tuesday morning, begun in the rain but still in a happy atmosphere compensating a bit. Fortunately the afternoon was quite more sunny.

De l'ajustage ! En tout cas le résultat est à la hauteur de nos espérances. Nous pensons que non seulement, cela fait plus agréable à l’œil et finit la gare, mais mieux pour nos clients et plus pratique pour nous.
   What an adjustment ! And the result is what we expected. We think that not only it is good looking to the eye and completes the station, but it is also better for our customers and more practical for us.

Voilà le dallage maintenant terminé.
Nos pros ont mis le dallage juste à la hauteur du bois de la plateforme d'entrée de la gare.
Merci à Bruno G, Jean C et Bernard B qui ont œuvré à ce projet.
   So, the paving is now complete.
Our pros set it at the level of the wooden platform of the door. Thanks to Bruno G, Jean C and Bernard B for working on this project.

Mais n'oublions pas que pendant ce temps, Sébastien J et Jean H travaillaient sur le "Billard".
Une autre équipe, Jean D, Jean-François F et Patrick D, bossaient sur les locos les mettant en chauffe pour faire les essais. Bref, un vrai essaim d'abeilles...

   But let's not forget that meanwhile, Sébastien J and Jean H were working on the "Billard". An other team, Jean D, Jean-François F and Patrick D, worked on the locos, heating them for testing. In short, a real swarm of bees...

Bonjour à tous, 

Ce mardi il y a  eu plusieurs personnes au dépôt de Rillé.
Jean D, Patrick De et Jean-François ont travaillé sur Polska et la Touraine, nettoyage, démontage cendriers...remise en eau...Sébastien était à l'atelier et faisait moult soudures pour des pièces du Billard.
Bruno G, Jean C, Francis V et moi même avons continué le chantier pose des dalles à la gare.
   This tuesday, there were several peoples at the Rillé depot.
Jean D, Patrick D and Jean-François worked on Polska and la Touraine, cleaning, disassembling ashtrays, filling with water...
Sébastien was in the workshop doing some welding on parts for the Billard. Bruno G, Jean C, Francis V and me continued laying down the tiles at the station.

Pour être honnête, il ne faisait pas très chaud et un vent frais venait du lac.
J'en profite pour vous dire que notre brouette suicidaire va bien et n'a pas réitéré son geste malheureux... Elle a vaillamment repris du service grâce, certainement, à nos bons soins... ;-)
   To be honest, it was not warm and a fresh wind came from the lake.
I take the opportunity to say that our suicidal barrow did not reiterate its sad attempt... It bravely resumed work, certainly thanks to our good care... ;-)

L'après midi, la pose continue avec nos deux pros.
   The afternoon, work continues with the pros.

A la fin du chantier , voila un aperçu du devant de la gare maintenant.
   At the end of the day, here is a preview of the station hall now.

Cela a bien avancé. Il restera les cotés à poser mais là, il y aura beaucoup de découpe à faire.

   It all went well. Sides remain to be fitted, but they will require a lot of cutting.

Ce lundi nous étions heureusement 5 pour le chantier: Jean D, Bruno G, Patrick D, Jean-François  et votre serviteur.
Dès le matin nous avons préparé  deux fois du béton et l'avons étalé à la gare.
Après notre déjeuner et la traditionnelle  mousse au chocolat..., sans même avoir le droit de faire une petite sieste (les conditions de travail ne sont plus ce qu'elles étaient !), nous avons préparé un mortier pour coller les premières dalles.
   This monday, we were 5 at work: Jean D, Bruno G, Patrick D, Jean-François and me.
From the morning, we prepared concrete twice and poured it at the station.
After lunch and the traditional chocolate mousse, and without a nap, -working conditions are no more the same ;-) - we prepared some cement to fix the first tiles.

 

Lors de notre premier train de l'après midi , notre brouette de mortier, s'est lamentablement suicidée en se jetant du train.
Très soucieux des finances de notre association, nous avons patiemment et consciencieusement ramassé jusqu'au plus petit grain de mortier et à chaque passage nous enlevons maintenant nos casquettes . Cela va devenir un lieu du souvenir... ;-)
   Traveling our first afternoon train, our cement barrow miserably committed suicide jumping off the train. Caring for the society finances, we patiently and conscientiously picked up the cement. Now, each time we pass there, we remove our caps. It will become a memory spot... ;-)

Nous avons aussi profité de notre passage à la gare pour enlever le ruban de chantier , les piquets en fer et les supports du panneau d'information que nous avions réinstallé il y a quelques semaines.
   We also used our presence at the station to remove the tape and poles around the display panel we repaired some weeks ago.

Notre gare s'embellit toujours un peu plus, pour le confort de nos usagers et de nous par la même occasion.
Cela commence à prendre une belle tournure. Qu'en pensez-vous? 
Je pense que ça vaudra une nouvelle inauguration....
   Our station embellishes more and more, for our visitors and ourselves. It is becoming to look very nice, don't you think ?
 I think it will desserve a new inauguration...

Petite photo du deuxième tour de rails ARA B américains de 1917. C’est l’équivalent d’environ 600m de voie que nous venons de récupérer au triage de St Côme à Tours !

Bonjour à tous.
Hier jeudi, je suis allé donner un petit coup de main à Jacky .
Nous avons coulé 2 nouveaux éléments, ce qui porte avec ces deux là le nombre d'éléments de prêts à 11. Sur la photo, je vous donne une explication.
   Hi everyone,
Yesterday, I went to help Jacky. We poured two new elements, giving with these two a total of 11 completed elements. On the photo are some explanations:

The topside will become the edge of the platform after tilting.

Lifting rings to extract the module when the mold is open.

Part that will be on the ground, covered by dirt and gravel. 

 

Préparation du béton
Heureusement que Jacky a du matériel (bétonnière...grue ...emplacements pour mise en route et stockage), qui facilite grandement la mise en place. Merci à lui.
   Preparing the concrete
It is fortunate Jacky owns heavy equipment (mixer, crane) and a yard for work and storage, which all facilitate the job. Thanks Jacky.

Une ancienne barrière roulante de passage à niveau a été récupérée et ramenée à Rillé.
   An old rolling barrier from a crossing has been reclaimed and brought back to Rillé.

En provenance de Château du Loir, cette barrière a été ramenée par convoi agricole.
   Coming from Château du Loir, this barrier has been carried on a farming tractor trailer.

Joël et Romain ont fait un assez long parcours pour assurer la manutention et le transport de cette pièce encombrante.
   Joël and Romain made a rather long trip to ensure handling and transportation of this large piece.

C'est typiquement le genre de mission qu'on ne peut confier à un transporteur, sauf à avoir un budget conséquent.
   This is typically the kind of mission we can not give to a transporter without having a significant budget.

La barrière est maintenant à Rillé où son futur emplacement reste à déterminer. Elle rejoint donc les matériels historiques qu'elle accompagne fort bien.
   The gate is now at Rillé, where its future location remains to be determined. It joins the other historic equipments and accompanies them well.

Hier il y avait du monde à Rillé. Nous nous sommes occupés de la grande pancarte de la gare qui avait chuté lors d'une tempête.
   Yesterday, there were some peoples at Rillé. We worked on fixing the display panel of the station that was damaged during a storm.


Il y avait Bernard B, Patrick D, Bruno un nouveau membre qui n'habite p​as loin et moi-même. L'après-midi, Xavier s'est joint à nous et c'est là que tous ensemble, nous avons décidé de la resceller cette pancarte le jour même. Il avait été fait samedi  deux trous à la gare et 4 cornières pour mettre autour des pieds et sceller dans du béton. La pancarte a été rapprochée de la gare.
   There were Bernard B, Patrick D,Bruno, a new member living nearby, and myself. The afternoon, Xavier joined us and we decided to repair the display. Last saturday, two holes were dug in the ground and 4 steel corners were prepared to fit the display legs to seal in concrete. The display is now closer to the station.

-La première phase a consisté à ramener la pancarte au dépôt.
    The first phase was to bring the display back to the depot.

- Là, une équipe refaisait le petit toit et l'autre perçait , ajustait les cornières.
    There, a team repaired the little roof and another one adjusted the corners.

- Une première bétonnière. Chargement dans une multitude de seaux puis descente à la gare. Là, Joel (papa de Romain), nous a aidé en positionnant la fourche de son tracteur. On l'a réquisitionné suite à son passage au dépôt pour amener une barrière, pour mise en place et calage.
    A first concrete mixer load. Charging in numerous buckets and transfer to the station. There, Joël (dad of Romain), helped us with his tractor forklift. We requisited him after his passage to the depot to bring a barrier, for erecting and setting the display.

- Remontée au dépôt, 2ème bétonnière, puis fin du scellement. Dépôt: nettoyage/rangement. On a fini il faisait sombre.
Une bonne équipe qui a travaillé dans la joie et la bonne humeur.
    Back to the depot for a second concrete mixer load, then resumed sealing. Depot: cleaning/arrangement, we finished at dusk.
A good team which worked in joy and good mood.
