The old crafts section was of interest with demos of forge, rope manufacturing, wool spinning wheat and butter handmade production. Collections of stationary engines, several running, did not fail to attract amateurs of nice mechanics. An operational locomobile drove a wheat mill, showing the early powered farming machineries.

Old farming tractors, got there by their own means, made some remarkable evolutions. The museum of Savignéen was displaying a very older part of local -geological- history...

Of course, the railway was very active with three trains running, two steam for passengers service, one diesel for merchandise. Railway action was completed by ongoing work on the new station with woodworking and ardoise laying in progress.
