Laying rails is an operation that requires many manpower, fortunately we were not in lack of it at that time !

The rails are brought as close as possible and the first one is "dragged and dropped" with clamps.

The sleepers are aligned with the rail sole and some screws are placed, as well as temporary fishplates.

The second rail is laid down the same way.

The following rails are then advanced on the rough track to continue installation.

The ballast is now poured with hopper cars, two being dedicated to inside of rails, the two others to the exterior sides.
