Second day:
La pelleteuse revient finaliser la surface de la couche d'argile qui est recouverte d'un géotextile. La surface utilisée avoisine les 250 m².
The excavator is back to finalize the clay layer surface which is then covered with a geotextile. The surface used is around 250sqm.

A slightly deeper lateral trench receives a drain pipe to control the amount of water in the soil.

Different networks (sewage, drainage, electricity and signals) have been either renewed or silghtly displaced.

A layer of 0/31,5 calibre gravel is poured and compacted for a final thickness of 10 cm.
Pendant ce temps là, le tronçon de voie du PN1 a été entièrement reconstitué.
In the meantime, the RC1 track portion has been entirely reconstructed.

The former classical "Vignole" rails have been replaced by double headed ones, welded directly on the steel sleepers. As they were buried, only a few original sleepers could be reused. Counter-rails have been added to the mounting to keep the wheels passage clear form soil. Spacers maintain the distance between the rails in reinforcement of the weldings.
