Remise à neuf du Dbf38 - Complete refit

Le Dbf38 est à l'origine un fourgon. Il a été modifié en voiture passagers pour augmenter la capacité d'accueil du train. Des années plus tard, il subit une cure de rajeunissement.
   The Dbf38 is originally a coach. It has been altered to become a passenger carriage to increase the transportation capacity of the train. Years later, it goes under rejuvenation.


Les travaux ont commencé il y a plusieurs mois mais sont entrecoupés d'autres chantiers. Or, ce n'est pas une petite opération mais une rénovation complète qui a été entreprise.
   Work began several months ago and is regularly interrupted by other priorities. But it is not a small operation, it is really a complete refit that has been undertaken.

Les parois latérales en bardage de bois sont en cours de remontage, un côté est déjà terminé. De nouvelles banquettes. remplaceront les anciennes bien usées.
   Wooden sidewalls are being laid down, one is already complete. New seats will replace the old well worn ones.

Il reste encore à refaire l'installation électrique (éclairage, alarme, sonorisation) et à fabriquer les nouveaux portillons. La quantité de travail à réaliser par ailleurs n'a pas permis la disponibilité pour l'ouverture de la saison mais l'objectif visé est une remise en service pour le festival des 14, 15 et 16 juillet, fêtant les 40 ans de l'association.
   It remains to set a new electrical wiring (lighting, alarm and sound systems) and to build new doors. The amount of work to do made the readiness impossible for the season opening but the aim is to have it operational for the festival on 14-16 of july for the 40th anniversary of the society.
